Need help finding a death Cert.
« on: Tuesday 11 August 15 16:56 BST (UK) »
Hi

Can anyone help me find James Watt who i believe died in the 1950's in Glasgow' Erskine Hospital for war veterans, i have been told he was born 1892 in Airdrie, but i think he was born in Edinburgh...

Parents were Jane Harrison Watt & William Watt

Thanks for your help.

J.

Hi,
There is a death for a James Watt on Scotlands People in the 1950's in Erskine Renfrewshire.
It is a pay as you view site and is very reasonably priced . £7:00 for 30 credits  which if used carefully can get you a few certs.Sorry I have no credits to do this for you. www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
As it is before the cut of year you will be able to download and view the certificate immediately.

Hi I have found some information on a James Watt who was born in Edinburgh and died 22 July 1950 in Glasgow.
I also have a 1901 census and a Military record for James. If you would like to discuss this information I will only be too glad to help.
Hope this is your James
Kind Regards
Kim

Hi Kim,

I am very interested in the information that you have for James.

The fact that you have a military record for him, would this be his medal index card ?

The death certificate has eluded me, i am going on old information passed on from a member of the family

Thanking you for your help

John.
