Hi Ken,
thanks again, your knowledge is phenomenal, he was born 1875, so he wasn't under age, he was married in 1907, and his job is listed as a fireman, firebrigade, he's on 1911 census as a labourer,and a couple of children, that was in April, supposedly he went back in just after the census was done,

Hi Susan

He would not have to go back. He just extended his time in the Army Reserve for a further four years and was recalled at the start of WW1.
