Is there anyone out there who could find out details of the death of an ancestor in Swann County, Perth Western Australia please? I know he is dead but I cannot find any details. His name was Alexander Bond-Hughes.  Also, his wife Pamela Margaret Bond-Hughes. She also died in Swann County, Perth, Australia. Both would have been in the late 1900's...1990ish? Alex was born in Wales in 1926.

Hi retiredjan,
As he was living in South Perth in 1980, we should be able to find details of their burials here
http://www.mcb.wa.gov.au/ResearchAndGenealogy/Search.aspx

But I haven't found them and I have tried a few variations ....

regards,
   Ros

I think their son is on linkedin https://www.linkedin.com/ (someone with same name as you mentioned in your ancestry message-board query) who works in Sydney.

Perhaps you could make contact that way ...?

regards
   Ros

adding : Perhaps the family moved to Sydney in 1980's - I see son appeared in Sydney Morning Herald in late 1980's in list of University Offers - implying he was at school in Sydney (or NSW)

It is of course possible that the two people you believe are deceased, are in fact still alive.  You have one as born in 1926, perhaps his female partner was younger than him?    I am concerned that you are naming people who may well be living people.

Is there anyone out there who could find out details of the death of an ancestor in Swann County, Perth Western Australia please? I know he is dead but I cannot find any details. His name was xxxxxxxxxxxx.  Also, his wife xxxxxxxxx. She also died in Swann County, Perth, Australia. Both would have been in the late 1900's...1990ish? xxxxxxxxx was born in Wales in 1926.

For these people to be your ancestor and at same time be born in 1926, they must be closely related to you, as your avatar name suggests that you are a retired person.    I have relatives who are alive and alert and living in Australia who were born years before 1926.   They are extremely aware of their expectation to privacy of the individual.

How are you so sure these people are no longer living..... and why are you so sure they died in the late 1900's.....

Ancestor : a person, typically one more remote than a grandparent, from whom one is descended.

ADD
I notice on that messageboard on ancestry that you have not made any mention of the couple being deceased, and you pose the question "Anyone know anything please" ....

This is the link to the Western Australian bdm policy statement providing the criteria for access to the non historic WA death certificates.
