kerr family of Dundalk

Any info wanted on the Kerr family of Dundalk. My brother in law was John Joseph Kerr, he had a sister called Winnie, brother Gerrard or Jarred also he had a sister who became a nun and was known as sister Mary Benedict.
Would like to know anything as John came over to  England when he was 17yrs old to seek work and married my sister Betty but he never spoked of his childhood.

Dundalk is in County Louth so you might consider asking for this post to be moved. 

It would also help your chances of a reply if you supply some dates.

Hi Moira and Daithi,
Sorry to hear about your brother-in-law Moira.  His sister, Winifred Rose Kerr (born 1922) was married in Dundalk in 1944 to my first cousin once removed, Robert McShane (born 1919) and they had children.  This Robert McShane was the second son of Hugh McShane and Annie Dennison.  Hugh McShane was the son of Robert McShane and Mary Anne Carroll  and his oldest brother Corporal John McShane was a postman who died in France in 1915 in WWI, and his youngest brother was my grandfather. Winifred's sister was Sr. Benedict. Regards, McShane1.

Thank you very much Dathai and Rosena for the information, Sean or John as we have always known him by only had one son, Michael Peter Kerr, i will pass this information on to him.
