Falkryn - that's great, now reduced to a magnifying glass.  The only problem is all the other icons have moved across to fill the space. Doesn't really matter, I'll just move them around so that the ones I use the most are in the centre of the task bar.

This is a BT site to go to once you've got Windows 10 installed.  It is a list of 10 things to do after you upgrade your computer to Windows 10, with instructions how to carry them out.

Read the comments - oh dear !

Lostris - I can't understand how so many people can be having such extreme problems.  I know people on here have had a few problems, but nothing like the ones on that site and others.  Also I know lots of people who've upgraded without any problems.  My daughter and a couple of sons have upgraded from 7, as has my husband, I upgraded from 8.1 without any problems.  We can't all just have been lucky.

it may be to do with competance to some extent ...... dunno ... I had a time-consuming issue after doing a Clean install, trying to find out why my data disk was included as a System Drive .... made a mistake trying to fix it and then had to go right back to VISTA to be able to reinstall WIN7, get it up to SP1+ and then finally back to WIN 10 ... it didnt do a good job with video (NVidia) drivers and still has quirks ...

Theres a few on here with bigger problems ...

"There's a few on here with bigger problems"

What is annoying me, is that the more you dig into the found problems, the more you find that most of these were known, some well before the launch date. So why are they still affecting the operating system to the detrimental affect on the user. Has Microsoft over complicated this version of Windows?
