on the criminal record her age is stated as 21 in 1847. She was also convicted of larceny in 1845 age 19 when she was sentenced to 9 months imprisonment. Again at Salford Sessions.

THis age ties in with all the other info you have

Hello.  Thank you for searching but I am no longer researching female convicts but I'll leave this post here for future descendants who may be looking.

I know a tree on ancestry has this lady as married in England but I keep looking at this - living in Chorlton district

1841
Name   Age
George Kerwin   40
Ann Kerwin   40
James Kerwin   12
Elizabeth Kerwin   5
Emma Kerwin   15

When searching for Emma Hadfield on ancestry this one keeps appearing as someone has submitted a correction. She is listed under the other children even though she is older than they are which is unusual. I wonder if her mother was Ann Hadfield born before she married George.

Name   George Kerwin
Spouse's Name   Ann Hadfield
Event Date   10 May 1830
Event Place   Manchester, Lancashire, England
