JenB and Gary

As 'Suit' in the 'Jesse Stone' series says - "The information is out there, all you have to do is pick it up".

I've attached a shot of the sign at the entrance to the new graveyard. It shows the layout of the various sections. Section 14, in common with many of the other sections has little tree symbols; if you go to the area of the symbol at the right-hand side you will find a headstone for members of the Atkinson family beside the path. This is plot 10. Two rows behind this is plot 82, which is where Harry is interred. There does not appear to be a headstone. Having said that, there are several in the immediate vicinity which are white marble with lead lettering, which are largely unreadable due to dirt and lichen cover; one of them could be a contender, but I don't think so.

The second shot shows the headstone for Thomas Airton, which is plot 118, in the fourth row, as well as the back of the Atkinson headstone beside the path, in the distance. I think Harry is probably buried directly behind the Airton headstone in the grassy plot between that headstone and the path.

If you use the contact details shown on the sign at the entrance to the Cemetery you can check the above information and also ask for an identifying marker to be put on Harry's grave. As far as I know this service is still free.

                            PatB.

Pat,

I can't thank you enough, I intend to travel up for the midlands in the next couple of weeks. To visit and ensure that all the graves you have identified for me are marked.

Thanks once more
