No that's all the information that appeared. I don't understand how to open up any other information!

Sorry I am not very computer literate

Have you actually bought the entries? If so each one should show the information that Durham Records Online has extracted from the Burial Registers.

It is possible that DRO hasn't extracted the full information, such as plot numbers, which are in the Burial Register.

Can you give an example of what one of the entries actually says?

I paid £1.50 per entry. It just gives name, cemetry register lanchester district, the record number and age at death and date of death. I think most of the information was available for free?

I apologise if I've caused you to spend money unnecessarily. I had assumed that the entries on DRO would include the plot number.

(I feel sure, though that the record you bought would also have included the address of the person concerned since this is also included on the free index?)

No problems. I have private messaged Pb3 who I note has helped others in the past. I hope he may be able to assist if he responds.

I've attached a PDF of all the burials I could find for the surnames you requested - and sound-alikes. I've only entered the first 100 years of burials on the database, so the 1971 burial you mentioned is not included. I'll look it up manually when I have a bit more time.

Harry Davison, aged 53 years, of 28 Riverside, Shotley Bridge, was buried on December 1st 1971 in Section 14, plot number 82.

I haven't photographed and transcribed the headstones in Section 14 as yet so I have no idea as to whether or not there is a headstone. The way the weather is at the moment I'm sticking close to home, but maybe when the weather gets a bit more clement (?????) I'll have a look around.

Your help is really appreciated. Do you have a map of the cemetry so that I can find the plots? Is this the best way of locating them?
