Hi can anyone please help, a number of my relatives are buried in benfieldside cemetery I don't believe any have gravestones, I have been to the cemetery and couldn't locate any.

Can anyone assist in identifying the plots where they are buried so that I can locate them and visit them.

I have tried this site and not been able to identify them? I find the site quite difficult to navigate. Thanks

Ralph Frederick Davison Edmundson's 1911 burial is on the Durham Records Online index, but you will need to buy site credits to get the full entry.

I haven't checked any of the others yet.

James Percival Gibson Davison is on there as well.

The site is fairly easy to navigate - under 'Record Type' select 'burials', and under 'District' select 'Lanchester'. The Benfieldside ones come up listed as 'Cemetery registers'.

I think Harry Davison is also on there, but the year of birth is different from the one you give. This could well be because the incorrect age at death was given.

Hi I have now managed to confirm they are in the benfieldside cemetery, the documents from the durham records on line, don't give any details as to where they are buried only a record number for example harry Davisons is Record Number: 1301272.12
Location: Benfieldside

How can I decipher this further?

The number you've got is simply Durham Record Online's index number Doesn't the information you've got from them include the plot number?
