Could it be that the parent remarried to a Campbell & that surname was used for a time  ???

Worth looking for a marriage in the area with surname Campbell  ???

Frederick William Morgan married Annie Parry Hughes and lived in Risca.
They were from Blaenavon and Pontymister.
They had four children and moved to Doncaster in the late 1920’s to work in the coal mines.
Fredericks father was William Morgan of Blaenavon who served with the Monmouthshire Rifle Volunteers.
Frederick served with the Royal Field Artillery in WW1
His son Melvyn served with the Coldstream Guards in WW2.
They are buried in Rossington in South Yorkshire
