"I am looking for the history of my family (or?) member Mr John Doe regarding their use of a vehicle make xxx model yyyy between 1905 and 1930, the registration plate might be ERR 98. Would there be a record of this? If so could I obtain a copy of it?

The plate would not have been regarded as "historic" at the time.
