Hi.. I am hoping somebody can help with information on Rowland William Deevy, born Manchester.
After his marriage to Sarah Pollitt at Manchester cathedral in 1847 he seems to disappear. I have tried various surname changes but nothing! Hope a Rootschatter will be able to help with this brick wall.

There is a birth in Salford in 1850 for a George Winder Deevey

1841 for Rowland shows him as a 20yr old medical student (marriage cert shows him as a surgeon)

Father is Terence on the 1841 - occ Tailor - marriage cert says father is Thomas occ draper.  1851 shows him as Thomas b Ireland

His mother was also Sarah and the 1854 death was a 64yr old as per www.LancashireBMD.org.uk

His sister Jane died 1852

U.S. City Directories, 1821-1989 on Ancestry has a Rowland Deevy - spouse Sarah but you need a Worldwide membership to view
