Taylor/Kyle Ballymena district Northern Ireland
« on: Friday 24 July 15 11:40 BST (UK) »
:) Hello, can someone help.  I've become stuck re my grandmother's family.  Agnes Taylor born in Portglenone in 1892.  Her parents Thomas Taylor (farmer) and Jeannie (could officially be Jane) Kyle - presumably also from Portglenone.  I've been trying to find marriage info re Thomas and Jeannie to no avail.  Can anyone help at all?  Many thanks, Kate.

The 1872 marriage of Thomas Taylor of Killycoogan to Jane Kyle of Bracknamuckley took place in Ahoghill Second Presbyterian Church, the groom's father was Robert Taylor, the bride's father was Hugh Kyle.

There is a thread at http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=616961.0 on some other Kyles from Bracknamuckley, which may be helpful at some point.

Hi Kate,

I hope you can see this ok. I would really like to have a chat with you. My mother was a Taylor. Thomas Taylor and Jane Kyle were my great great grandparents.  I have some old photos of the Taylors I would love to share with you.

Many thanks
Rebecca
