Looking for a Grave in the Rookwood Cemetery. James IRELAND
« on: Thursday 23 July 15 04:50 BST (UK) »
I found an inscription on FamilySearch.  It is James Ireland, Died 05 May 1920 and is stamped with Rookwood Cemetery.  Says I-D Sect H Grave 1880 on the card.

I'm a newbie and haven't been able to find a way to successfully search Rookwood Cemetary. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,  Welcome to RootChat.

That's not I-D, but IND as in Independent.   So, Rookwood is a very large Cemetery, and the Independent part has many sections.   So, your Chap is in Section H, and Grave 1880 in that section.

Do you want any more details?   Happy to help, and there's many others also happy to help too.

Some RChatters have offline resources  :)
