Hi

Does anyone have access to the parish records for Saint Michael Bedwardine and be able to check a marriage record for me please.

Thomas Payton married Sarah Smaley Bond - 26 December 1811

I am hoping that the record will state the name of Thomas's father.  I believe it is John Payton but have recently come across new information that has left me questioning this.

I'm sorry but the the parish register entry won't help you re Thomas Payton's father's name as the witnesses were Keturiah Bond and Nathl (Nathaniel) Bond.

Thank-you Jack for checking this out for me, much appreciated.

I was hoping that the parish record would be the type that listed both fathers and what their occupations were, but alas not to be.  Keturiah Bond is Sarah's sister and I am guessing Nathl is another relative.  Sarah's father was William Bond. 

Even though it didn't provide me with the puzzle piece I want, it did tell me that her sister came to her wedding.
