Looking for parents of john shenton born 1785 in london
census says county unknown, know he married in shropshire
to ann done but looking up the tree for his parents which is
going back really to 1760 .
anyone who can help with more knowledge than me.

A possibility?  What makes you think he was born in London if the census says county unknown?

will look into that info what i should have said is
that the census said born london county unknown.
