Edwin Rex Merrells

Hello
I am looking for information on the above who was born on 3rd February 1920 in Yeo Cottage, Upper Bristol Road, Bath.
His mother was Jennie Merrells (nee Bevan). His father was Thomas Ernest Merrells who was my grandfather.

Any help or information would be appreciated.

Could you say when and where he died, please?

Do you know when and where Thomas and Jennie married, and did your grandfather marry again in 1922, or some other time?

Was Edwin adopted?

As mentioned I am looking for any information on the above - I am sorry I can only confirm the details of his birth at this stage.
I have tried a few sources but have no other information yet - until I received the birth certificate, I was unaware of this relations existence.

Further to your "added" I can confirm my grandfather married again in 1922, and as far as I can ascertain he married Jennie on 20/10/1916 in Holy Trinity Swansea

Marriages December quarter  1916 
 Jennie Bevan        Swansea       11a  1720   
 Thomas E Morrells     Swansea    11a     1720

Was Thomas described as widowed or divorced on that 1922 marriage certificate?

The marriage certificate for 1922 shows my grandfather to be

"formerly the husband of Jennie Merrells, formerly Bevan, from whom he obtained a divorce.

ref post by Bookbox at 23.12 - I note from free BMD that an Edwin R Brookes was married in Cheltenham to a Gladys E Lloyd in September quarter 1950.
