Ellen Strong  36 Born Scotland.
Meria Strong  13 Born Plumpton Robert Strong  12 Born Ainstable.
John Strong  10 Born Scotland. Abraham Strong  6 Born Ireby.
Janet Ellen Strong  2 Born Wigton. Joseph Strong  2 Born Wigton.

The image shows Janet as Janet Eliza Strong rather than the transcrption Janet Ellen Strong.

John Strong - baptised 9 February 1881 - Patents Joseph and Helen Thomson Strong.

There is a death Wigton Registration Dist - June 1914 - 10b 713 for Joseph Strong aged 61 years.

No Janet Eliza on the 1901 census but there was a death at Wigton September 1895 - Janet Elizabeth String aged 6 years. 10b 359

Good finds Sandra
Joseph & Ellen (apparantly) had 9 children -2 of them died when young -so Janet Eliza/Elizabeth must be one of them.

There is a little puzzle with the family - Joseph & Ellen had (described as) a son George Watson (or Walson) Strong b.c.1903 Wigton -I cannot find a birth reg for this child - I can find one for George Watson - and I think Ellen was a little too old to be having children in early 1900's -she would be c. 50 - I wondered if one of the Strong girls married a Watson ??
