Hi Andy,

I have the Flannigans who were born in Kelloe and East Howle, living there in 1901 census

Thomas William served in the Royal Army Service Corp Remount Division who were responsible for the supply of horses to all army divisions. He joined up in 1915 and was medically discharged in 1916.
His brother John signed up with 2nd bttn DLI  at the outbreak of the war and fought around Ypres. He was killed aged 19 in September 1916 by which time 90% of those he embarked with were killed or injured.
It was a large family with a few other brothers but I haven't found any records for those so far
