Cracked of my great-uncle Antonio Coscia picture needs fixing please

This is a picture of my great-uncle Antonio Coscia (1884-1930). It is the only known photograph of him and as you can see, it is not in a great condition. Anything that could be done in terms of fixing the cracks or cleaning it up would be much appreciated.
