Harold Pointon Oldham

Looking for any members of the family of veteran Harold Pointon buried in Lees Cemetary Oldham.
He was the son of Thomas and Hannah Pointon of 14 South Hill Street Glodwick Oldham. His siblings were Sydney, Hilda, Thomas, Elsie and Lilian Pointon. His Father Thomas was born in Stafford to John Charles Pointon.
Particularly interested in any military information, service number was T457280 a Driver in theRoyal Army Service Corp, died 1919.

Are you related to this person, or are you just researching the man's military history?

 Sydney POINTON and  Florence EUSTON in 1929 at Christ Church, Glodwick

Look on www.lancashirebmd.org.uk Put in Surname Pointon and mothers maiden name Euston, there are two possible births in 1930 and 1948 - hopefully they might still be living so I wont put their names on here.

Hilda  POINTON and  Horace W FINCH in 1930 at Christ Church, Glodwick
Possible daughter born 1933 North Manchester


Lilian E POINTON  and Wilfred WARDLEWORTH  in 1936 at United Methodist Church, Edward Street Werneth Oldham

Looks like one child from this marriage in 1937 and another in 1942

There is a death for Lilian Edna Wardleworth in 1995 Oldham
Birthdate given as 3rd April 1915

Sydney POINTON and  Florence EUSTON in 1929 at Christ Church, Glodwick

This is my Grandad and Nanna.
They had two daughters, Marian and Sheila.
Sheila is my mum and they moved to Morecambe when she was around 4 or 5 years old.
Both are daughters are still alive

Not sure how to get hold of you by the Sydney Pointon here is my Grandad and Florence Pointon is my Nan. Their daughter Sheila is one of their daughters and is my mum
