Schuyler Waldron - died in Nebraska

Hi,

I am trying to track down my 3rd great grandfather, Rev. Schuyler Waldron.  He was born in Canada and emigrated with his family to Wisconsin.  He was a Methodist Minister.  Sometime in th early 1880s he went to live with some of his children in South Dakota.  His daughter, Bessie Waldron Axtell was living in Nebraska and was ill.   He supposedly went to help her out in which she passed away around 1901 in Beatrice. Supposedly, Schuyler died in Nebraska (according to another daughter's obit) not long after.  I am not familiar with Nebraska's resources.
Any suggestions would be great.

You may have this census , 1900 , placing him in Dodge , Nebraska , living with D.S. and Lizzie Waldron  , as S.R. Waldron b 1821 Canada , Minister :

I don't think BMD records were kept in Nebraska until early in the 1900s but someone who knows more will surely be along to confirm.

Statewide death records in Nebraska start in 1904, but it says some counties kept them before that.  http://dhhs.ne.gov/publichealth/Pages/ced_genealog.aspx

Buried Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska

Only 54% of the graves have been photographed.  Perhaps if you contact the person who "created" Mrs. Axtell's posting, she may be able to see if any Waldron's (especially Rev. Waldron) are buried in the cemetery.  The record was recently posted, so there's a chance that she is still gathering information from that cemetery.
