James and Isabellas daughter Sarah Tappenden was a hawker who married Henry Streeting, bobbing maker and dealer in Canterbury a/m/j 1845.The Streetings also had strong Gypsy/traveller connections.Henrys brother Thomas was a travelling marine store dealer who married first Elizabeth Buckley, then after her death he married widow Mary Anne Shaw in Cranbrook 15/01/1885.She was a hawker, her father was William Brown, general dealer.
Thomas and Elizabeths daughter Mary Ann Streeting married William Spain,my second cousin x5,who was a horse dealer.Streetings also married into Hughes and Cork amongst others, and Buck, who were licenced hawkers and possibly Romany.
