Any chance of getting a better view of the lamp post, in particular its base?

The embankment has lamp posts decorated with sturgeons round the base. Mention elsewhere of one ending up in oldham.

It reminds me  of a church  in Crosby (near Liverpool)

Initially,  I thought that it was a church at the junction of Eshe Road  and College Road,  Crosby L23.

The design of the Lamp looks very similar to the Gas Lamps used in the Borough of Crosby  circa 1900.
