Rootschat gets a mention on TV on Tuesday 23rd June.
« on: Monday 22 June 15 10:15 BST (UK) »
For those of you who have been following http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=660456.0

The story of how we got Diane and her half brother John together, is to be featured on BBC on Family Finders at 11-30am on Tuesday 23rd June.

They asked if a few of us would go on there and speak ,Marg did,but I preferred not to,but they promise to mention those who helped and to sing the praises of Rootschat as a whole.

Hope it turns out okay!

Carol

Hope someone can put it on You Tube somehow??   It would be great to be able to see it from the other side of the world!

Congratulations Rootschatters on Family Finders

I have just watched Family Finders and was so pleased that Rootschat was featured. Well done to the founders of the site and to those chatters who participated in finding Dees family. I read the post when it first started and was amazed at the results. This is an fantastic site.  I personally have received some invaluable help and do my best to repay this to others when I can. It is very little though when compared to the amount of time freely donated by many chatters to help others. You are all stars.
Regards
Kathy

I have yet to watch this episode but wonder if the sudden influx of people posting on here this morning looking for living relatives has anything to do with this broadcast.

There is already a post running on this mornings broadcast
