I am searching for information about James Andrew, he married my Grandmother Sarah McIntosh on 31 October 1936 at 5 Scott St, Waverley NSW. They both came from Glasgow originally. I know nothing of this side of the family as he married my Grandmother after she had my mother in 1921 . I believe they may have known each other in Scotland as they apparently lived only a few streets apart in Glasgow as children. Any information or contacts would be most appreciated, I am hoping to find a photo of Sarah McIntosh and of James as well. James was buried in the Waverley, NSW  cemetary. He was a green grocer,and later a hospital attendant .

This is the only marriage that appears to be them but you didn't mention the surname CHALMERS.

Father of Thomas was Samuel CHALMERS.

Mother of Sarah Purcell McIntosh was Mary BLAIR  b. Cal 1842, Glasgow, LKS, SCT. Seven children listed.

Thank you for your helpful replies, I will look into it. What I am really hoping for is to find a living member of the family who has a photo of my Grandmother Sarah. Her correct name was Sarah McIntosh Chalmers, she had my mother when she was young and single and was encouraged to give her up, then Sarah was taken back to Scotland to live. She later came out again, as her siblings were here in Australia, and married James Andrew in 1936. No mention was made of her child, but at Sarah's funeral in 1973, my mother attended and found a wonderful Scottish family who welcomed her. However we never seemed to find a photo of either Sarah or James
