Hello Gary, Catherine Dolby married Richard Ayto on 28th November 1825, at Caythorpe, Lincolnshire.......she was given as DALBY......he was given as HAYTO......have been having a look for a  death for Joseph Spittlehouse , but nothing coming up......I shall pursue it.......Del.

Hello , the registers for Aubourn do not seem to exist before 1749 but the BT's do and are at Lincs Archives . I think the burials for Joseph , Robert and Elizabeth and perhaps a lot more will be found in those ... assuming they are legible

O.k Gary, no problem, I have known about the Spittlehouse name for some years now, but never looked into it........interestingly (for me) Catherines sister Rebecca Dolby 1798--1874 married William Johnson, my 4x (I think) grandfather on the maternal side......I must say this is a welcome break from trying to research in Ireland........Del.

Hello Del , i do have Rebecca's marriage in my tree and had traced her until the 1871 census . her death in 1874 i did not have . I do not know if you subscribe to Ancestry but if you do i have a tree on there "Wilson and Bygrave"  please have a look if you want .

O.k Gary thanks.....I also have a tree on Ancestry.......it is the "Clarke and Ayto Family" tree.....I believe it to be generally correct, but there may be mistakes.......I work on it every day.....Del.
