1979: A significant issue of the magazine because of the article on Billy the Kid by Frank Burrard Creasy (1890-1983), a senior Inspector of the O.P.P. who claimed to have met and befriended Billy the Kid in 1906 when he worked for the outlaw, then known as John Miller, on his ranch in New Mexico. Miller stated that Pat Garrett killed the wrong man in 1881, concealed the error and collected the reward asking that his secret not be told until after his death and gave Creasy his 1880 Colt.45 revolver when Creasy joined the OPP in 1921.The Ontario Provincial Police Review, Toronto, May 1979.
