Parents of Michael O'Neill - Waterford

Hi,

Can anyone find any marriage/birth/death records of the parents of Michael O'Neill, born in Waterford area in 1922 and died in Bristol, England in 1985. He married Mary Maureen Dillon in Lambeth, Surrey in 1951.

I believe his father was also called Michael O'Neill and his mother was Bridget Connolly but I don't have much info on them beyond their names. I also don't know if they had any other children other than Michael.

assuming he was in his early 20s getting married and born Waterford he might be one of these but you will have a better idea when you get the marriage cert which will have his fathers name on it.

RootsIreland has a transcribed record for a 1922 Waterford marriage of a Michael O'Neill and a Bridget Connolly which is a possibility. It is subscription based should you wish to view it.

Edited to add: RootsIreland also has birth / baptism records for the two children in the census, also the marriage of parents William O'Neill and Bridget Dowling.
