If only his mothers name is shown, it is an indication he was illegitimate

Many thanks for your replies. John Price b.ca. 1793 was a man with some wealth so I'm picking he wasn't baseborn. I'm picking I have pulled the wrong baptism record.

John PRICE Christened 29 January 1792, Kington to THOMAS/MARY

Now Trees have these Children for John/Margaret nee Watkins married 1819;
Elizabeth 1819
Thomas 1821
John James 1824

Some have different death dates;
John 1826 or 1845
Margaret 1831 or 1845

Do you have a Will for John as you say he was a Man of some wealth?
Was he still alive 1841 according to your info?

I am consed a John Price married Elizabeth Watkins, not Margaret, 29 Nov 1819 Kington.

And this may be them in 1841.

Hi Trish
Fresh eyes are good eyes. The HO107/423/7/Kington is correct. I think they had a few extra children that look like they may have died young that I hadn't considered.
