Dent family.

Hi all ;)

Please can any one help me with tracing the parents of Elizabeth Dent,
she was born 1791 ish.
Elizabeth Dent married Isaac Rowbotham 26th August 1809, Middleton in Teesdale,
you can find this family in 1841 census Mickleside, Egglestone.
Isaac Rowbottom 60
Elizh  Rowbottom 50.
Ann   Rowbottom 30
Mary  Rowbottom 15
John Rowbottom 13.

Same family 1851, Newtown, Durham.

Its Elizabeth Dent's parents i'm trying to find, in the 1841 census Elizabeth Dent shown as not born in county, does seem to be a lot of Dents in Teesdale area.

Whilst Elizabeth's birthplace won't be shown in 1841 - you say it's the same family in 1851 so her birthplace should be shown

The actual place is Lunedale and this would appear to be her baptism:

Betty Dent born Grain's O'Beck, Lune bp.6/9/1789 Romaldkirk, Yorkshire, dau. of Robert and Sarah.

This is on familysearch.

If you google Lunedale you will see that baptisms for that place took place at Romaldkirk - likewise, googling shows Grain's O'Beck is in Lunedale.

other children.
How would i find a marriage for Robert & Sarah Dent.

A Joseph Dent bp.25/5/1786 - the only other one I can find.

Can't see obvious marriage for Robert and Sarah.

There is also another Betty Dent baptised Romaldskirk 11th July 1791, which fits with her age in 1841 and 1851. She was born Blakehouse, daughter of Thomas and Mary. Blakehouse is also Lunesdale I believe. Picture ref 167

I wondered whether the names of Isaac and Elizabeth's children might help, but the only one that is the same as any of the possible parents is Mary.

Ann 16th Feb 1811
James 16th Feb 1817
Mary 9th Feb 1823
John 1st October 1826
