Lookup request for the grave of Henrietta………Brecon.

Hello Rootschatters,

I'm trying to find the burial place and grave of Henrietta Geertruida Hodgson ( born Young).

Henrietta was born at the Island of Java (East Indies) on the 30Th of September1820 as the fourth child of a rich merchant.
Although she supposedly died on the 3Th of November1825, at the same day as her mother did, we find her alive and kicking in Scottland, Singapore, the Island of Jersey and Brecon.

On the 18Th of March 1857 she married Thomas Adams Carter Hodgson in Singapore. Thomas died at the 9Th of April 1882 at 65, New St. Johns Road, St. Helier Jersey.

After her husbands death she moved to Brecon, to live with her stepdaughter and husband, Mary Elisabeth Nott (born Hodgson) and William John Nott.


On the 3Th of August 1896 she died at Alexandra Road, Brecon, Wales

Can anyone please help me to find out where she was buried??
Could it possible be the cemetery on Cradoc Road in Brecon?

her death is listed in Brecknock in the third quarter of 1896, but cant see a burial index on FindMyPast

Found her at last!!

She died the 3 August 1896 and was buried three days later the 6 August 1896 at the same cemetery as her husband.
