Windows updates for May

I've sometimes had 3 updates following a load of them. I also had a scammer on the phone this time  whilst my computer was updating. "windows tec line". I've this phone call before and your told your computer is accessing sites it should n't. I said "oh yes and this is a rubbish phone call". She was flumoxed and i put the phone down.That could seriously worry someone whilst their computer was updating.

I've got my fingers crossed that there's a problem with Firefox because ten minutes ago when I tried to gain access to rootschat via my bookmarked rootschat 'Home' page, I got a mishmash of words and no images.  The only reason I'm on the site now is because I'm using something called "Chrome" and now everything on rootschat site looks fine.

Phew - one sleep later and I discovered that I could get back to normal viewing by refreshing Firefox.

However, I now have three "animated" adverts on this page and I'm wondering if this is my computer or can everyone else see them?

Adverts are ebay "Summer Time", Financial Times and one other.
