Hospital in Rhayader Radnorshire 1940's

does anybody know what hospital/s were in existence in Rhayader in the early 1940's? A hospital where a child might have gone to, possibly to be treated for Scabies as an inpatient?

Not managing to find anything.
Wondered about the workhouse, but appears closed, unless used during the war for a variety of purposes.
