Hello Everyone,

Diddy has been helping me in the Leic's thread.  But we have confirmed my relatives back as far as the Costock area we believe.

I am looking for a William Stevenson who I believe is from Costock circa 1803 and  is the William Stevenson who was married here:

I can't see any Stevenson / Stephenson at Costock

The only one in 1803 was at St Marys

William to William & Elizabeth Stephenson 6.4.1803 at St Marys

Notts IGI does not have a costock bap but Transcribed index gives loads called Stevenson! I have taken a snapshop - cannot post here so PM me with your email to send.

As Sunflower pointed out... NFHS cd has no Ste*son baptisms at Costock
I checked 1803 + - 5 years, with no name entered, there are 85 entries ,none for Ste*son.

No burials either.

Thanks everyone for your help.  Sorry I was travelling the last couple of days.

So the information that I have, which Diddy has largely validated has this William Stevenson being the son of Thomas Stevenson and Ann Taylor.  This piece of information is unvalidated and may not prove correct.  There are no details on births, marriages, deaths and no locations specified.
