Oh, how alone I feel in my search for my Sourbutts and Beddall ancestors!
On the surname interests page there's only little 'ol me.
Anyone else feeling all alone?

Thank you Matty Joe and Margaret.
Feeling a bit more fed up today but nothing to do with rootdigging. Have just come across a nasty traffic accident and being one of the first on the scene, stopped to help.
No details but I feel really quite shakey now. Must say though that after I called 999 the police were there within minutes- sometimes they're there when you need them.Didn't stay until ambulance arrived as was told 'You can go now' by police , but only hope it wasn't too long. Can't get the image of the poor car driver out of my head.

I am glad you are feeling better now.  I must add that not only am I researching Smiths (on my own??) but McNutts and I am glad to say that I have the help of Galena in Canada  and between us we have done well, also the pleasure of finding a long lost relative - it was she who put me in touch with rootschat a year ago.

Hi Carol,

A similar thing happpend to me a few years ago we were driving on a quiet country road in Australia, (won't go into the details), but we were first on the scene also.

Two other cars stopped to help almost immediately - Two doctors and two registered nurses, out of a total of five people!  I remember thinking that someone was looking after these people.

Carol - just being there and taking action was the important thing.

Matty - How wonderful to have found someone to share your research with plus the added bonus of finding rootschat.   I hope you find some Smith relatives too.
