Herschells of Montrose

I am researching Alexander Hershell , born 1848 in Montrose and married Mary Reilly of Linlligoth. They had many children in different places but census shows them at 'Hut on railway ' , in Yorkshire.  Can anyone help ?

If you add more detail, people likely able to help further. What year is the census in Yorkshire that you refer to? When did they marry?  Have you more census info for them>

What key info are you trying to find out now?

Beware their are 2 Alexander Herschell's b c 1846 this one is in Dundee in 1881 occ Currier.

Have you thought about adding the Herschell name to the surname interests table just in case someone else is looking in the future ?

Scroll down to the bottom of (any RootsChat) page.

In the dark box, under "Your Tools" you will see "Surname Interests".

Click on Quick Search to see surnames and variations.
Click on Advanced Search" for more possibilities.
Click on Add to add your ancestors to the Database.
Click on Edit to correct or add new data to your entries
