percy george slaughter; born 1881 sheffield ?? yorks

Hallo Anybody

i cannot find his birth record or his inclusion in the 1891 census.

he appears in death records, 1901 census in margate, 1911 in ecclesfield and his marriage to helena pack.

the summary of the above records ;
born 1881, ecclesfield/wortley/lane end/chapelford  all suburbs of modern sheffield.
1901 census shows birthplace as brixton, london.

Born in 1881, probably too late for the 1881 census,  but there was only one slaughter family registered as resident in sheffield;

john slaughter 1812 brentford middx
elizabeth (nee stow) 1826
and five children born in yorks.

if he were born to this couple, the mother would be 55 years old.

can anybody trace him for me please ?

I THINK he may have been born as George Percy SCHLOTHAU*R Sept Qtr 1880 Lambeth.

Walter EVERETT and wife Mary Ann(nee OLIVER)-the people with whom he appears in 1901 married in Lambeth in 1885. Walter's father was listed as William EVERETT,a butcher.

Harriet EVERETT (father William,a butcher) married Frederick George SCHLOTHAUER in Lambeth 1879.

Haven't found them in 1881 as yet.

Harriet dies in 1886.

And I can't find Geo.Percy in 1891.

He's with his EVERETT grandparents in Margate in 1891 as Percy SCHLOTTMAN.

John Michael Schlothaner (tailor, full age) marriage to Kezia Harding on 3rd November 1851 in Parish Chapel, St Pancras, Camden.
Her Father William Harding.  His father John Ditzich Schlothaner (deceased)

But in Warwickshire for 1861 census (Kezia from there)

Sorry, that might not make sense, have skipped a generation - John and Kezia have son George Frederick, I think.

I did not know if I was trespassing, because once you had put 'George Percy SCHLOTHAU*R' the rest was very easy to find.
Which is why I have not posted a lot - leave it for OP to work out - more fun.

(Except that if he is not a Slaughter, does that disqualify him from the ONS, or can one 'opt-in'?)
