To Milliepede & Spendlove
Just want to initially say 'thank you so much' for finding this info out!! :)
Will take me a while to digest it all. It is actually quite overwhelming....a bit like
a detective story when all the clues stack up. One of my G/uncles was Percy Pountain Phillips,
so I know that name was special to the family. And I saw a post from a descendent of the Allen
family on this site recently. Wow - this is amazing. Thank you again for taking the time.
Pete2  ;)

Hi,

My pleasure Pete2.

There is a marriage on www.familysearch.org

John Phillips =  Hannah Fountain  3.9.1827 Hanbury Staffs.

This looks like a transcrption error for Pountain.

Hi again Milliepede & Spendlove
Thank you so much for this info!  :)  Really appreciated!
This really is fantastic research, so much for me to be getting on with.
It's going to be a big tree - there are a lot of children.
Thanks for taking the time to help me.
Best wishes
Pete2 :D

You are welcome, that's what we're here for  :)

Certainly is overwhelming to start with but there is a lot of information out there.

Let us know when you have digested that lot and maybe we can find some more!

John Phillips christened Feb 1800, Hanbury, mother Mary Phillips.  www.familysearch.org
That is going back further in time to the previous generation!
Wow! :)

And very special thanks to BumbleB for travelleing out to Hanbury and photographing the headstone of GGGg-mother Hannah Phillips. The photos are on a different 'Topic' thread - St Weburgh's Church, Hanbury. I'll post photos here soon for anyone who's interested.  ;D
