There is a marriage of a William Parish in Epping to Elizabeth Spradbury on 22 Oct 1777. It says the grooms father was Gilbert, a yeoman. Unusual for fathers of couple to be mentioned at this time, but I have seen it occasionally for gentry / nobility. Possibly to make things clear for inheritance or to avoid confusion with others with the same name. So if Gilbert was a yeoman and lived at Copped / Copt Hall maybe he farmed land ultimately owned by the Conyers.
There is a marriage of a Gilbert Parish to Mary Westwood in Great Parndon on 13 Dec 1758, he was a widower. This might fit with Gilbert having a son William who was obviously much older than GCP I.
