Elizabeth Parish wife of Gilbert buried on 03 May 1757 at Great Parndon. There is also a William baptised in GP s/o Gilbert and Elizabeth on 3 March 1757. So it's all fitting nicely.
Gilbert and his second wife Mary have some children baptised in GP, last being Susanna in 1771. Then they pop up in Epping to baptise GCP I in 1773. Maybe Mr Conyers was very generous to Gilbert - giving him the opportunity to become a yeoman - a step up in the world.

Still not sure how GCP II of Waltham Holy Cross fits in, though. Might be grandson GCP I, but haven't found a son Edward yet.

Berks / Oxon: Eltham, Annetts, Wiltshire (surname not county), Hawkins, Pembroke, Partridge
Dorset / Hants: Derham, Stride, Purkiss, Sibley
Yorkshire: Pottage, Carr, Blackburn, Depledge
Sussex: Goodyer, Christopher, Trevatt
Lanark: Scott (soldier went to Jersey CI)
Jersey: Fowler, Huelin, Scott

Edward Par(r)ish and Ann Pegram married at Waltham HC on 08 Oct 1800

They appear to have had an illegitimate son also Edward baptised in North Weald in 1799.
Both Edward Parishes are on 1851 census. Edward snr was born in Epping about 1781. He is son of Gilbert and Mary - spelt Parrish, so couldn't find it earlier, bapt Epping All Saints (which I think is actually in Epping Upland) on 16 Nov 1780.

So that confirms GCP II is grandson GCP I
