Thankyou so much, I don't know why my searches brought up nothing, I subscribe to Ancestry and have found sometimes that the records are very difficult to find. I try all different ways of searching.
This is great! It certainly answers my question.   :)

A*****y has Wakefield Coroner's notebook 1852 -1909

There is this
"At the house of George William Evans the Golden Cock Inn on the 3rd Oct 1889 on view of the body of Harnepher Watson (deceased) -followed by an in depth report from a doctor of the heart problems Harnepher had

so it looks like Harnepher died at the pub!

Thankyou I do have the marriage record to Elizabeth, it was Ann I was confused about, thankyou for your help though.

I have found the coroners post mortem report, fascinating reading, I didn't even know this existed on Ancestry. I do find the searches on there don't often bring up results and I end up not using the automatic search options as I seem to get better results that way but this one just didn't bring up anything except the Adlington and Embsay records. I love this forum, everyone here is so helpful and it's very much appreciated :)

No, that's just where the inquest was. Happened a lot in those days, The notes show he died at home. It also shows the 1887 marriage was Harnepher, as the records refer to Mary Ann Harries Watson, the widow and that they married in that year.

Should have realised inquests were often held at a local pub

It's fine. I found the inquest, very interesting I have to say, looks like he was a drinker with the liver problem.  :)
