If you look at the 1881 census then George b 1873 is younger brother to Alderman & Jeptha?

I've found some death dates from photographs of monuments:

Alderman Pipe   died 1936   aged 68   born 1868      
Lucy Jane Pipe   died 1924   aged 51   born 1873   wife of Alderman Pipe   

Jeptha Pipe    died 1944    aged 78   born 1866
