Hello
still trying to find the birth/baptism of William/Wilmot Bathie in India, c 1856, and his death/burial after 1905.
I have the slightest lead - William Beattie b 1841 hampshire, England, bp 1856 in India .  Does anyone have any info on this William so I can accept or reject him?
thanks

There is an entry in the Cadet Papers for a William New Lumsden Beathe b 1841 (image could be Beattie)
Educated at the Gymnasium, Old Aberdeen.

Gives his parents as father W N Beattie (deceased) merchant and mother (no name) residing at 7 Dewar Place, Edinburgh.

Copy of birth cert gives father as William New Beattie, mother Isabella Lumsden - was born in Alverstoke, Hampshire.
