Well, I know it's just the time......
I'll tell you what, do you or anyone know where George Earle was born?

Then I'll stop pestering you.  :)

There's this possibility?

Her mam's name was Mary Ann(e) Lynch born around the mid 1880s and her dad's name was George Earle born in Ireland, possibly Ulster, again around the mid 1880s.

If anyone can help to make some progress with this I'd be very grateful.  :)

If George was born Ulster, it is no use our searching in Liverpool or West Derby is it  ???

It just seemed a coincidence to find a birth f the right name, at about the right time, in Liverpool?

As I said, it's just a possibility! ;D

I think the lady will have to buy the marriage certificate to look for George's father's name.
Agree with Heywood about the marriage certificate ...There is a tree with a marriage date for a Mary Ann Lynch to a George Earle 17/8/1912 St Anthony Church .Scotland Road Liverpool
Her date of birth is 22/8/1887 Liverpool father John Lynch mother Mary McKenna
No other mention of George Earle where he was born just a father William

I have also seen the baptism of a Mary Ann Lynch and siblings with mother Mary McKenna and she is in censuses.

One thing that is a bit of a puzzle, is that with a marriage in 1912, you would expect a child before young George.
I have seen a George Earle born 1890, who is a waiter on ships 1910-1912. Those are the only records but if he was at sea after marriage,  that might be a reason. :)
By various searches, I think I can connect him with a family and he would be born Liverpool.
However, that would be contradictory to the first post re Ulster!
Additionally we are unable to post 1911 information - other than the indexes.

Just reread your post rosie17 and the above info re the waiter, doesn't fit with a father William :-\
