I try to identify a soldier of WW2, probably of Polish nationality
His writing appears on a notebook "WRITING PAD ROYAL AIR FORCE AD ASTRA PER ARDVA"
A chance is it all a reader knows attached photo in writing. The text is a poem by Adam Kowalski born December 23, 1896 in Rzeszów, who died March 3, 1947 in Edinburgh. Major Polish army, legionary, journalist, poet, editor of "Polish soldier" and "Polish armies.
This could be be writing Adam Kowalski but as I have not managed to find a specimen of his writing it myself is not possible to make a comparison
