two brothers die on same day

Hello I was wondering if anyone could find any new article or obit for the following two people Bernard and Donald Field they passed away on the same day July 11, 1988. I am not sure where in England that they passed away but any help would be amazing Thank you for your time

Hi Sarah, their were these two deaths in July 1988?

Donald Field born 27th February 1930 death July 1988 Leeds v5 page 177 aged 58
Bernard Field born 11th July 1927 death July 1988 Leeds v5 page 63 aged 61

Hello Yes Keyboard86 that is when they both died I am curious as they both died on the same day was there some type of accident that caused these brothers to lose their life on the same day

Are you sure that they did actually die on the same day? The reason I query this is that the page numbers are quite far apart according to previous post (if those are the correct entries)-

as aghadowey has mentioned there would not normally be such a gap between page numbers if the deaths were the same day.

however, a delay could occur if there was a post-mortem for instance, no doubt in a place the size of Leeds there could be many deaths registered in between.
just a thought.

Or could they have both been in an accident and one died a little while later?

How do you know this - do you have the certificates as that will give the causes of death?

Hi Sarah, not certain if you have been online since the latest posts, but are we to assume Bernard died on his birthday in 1988, have you either of the death certicates?

hello no sorry I don't have their death certificates I am just following information that a family member had told me that is why I wanted to see if there was an obit or an article about them dying to see if the facts were true
