Sadly not much info on his sister Anna, she was supposedly born 30 nov 1807, in dumfriesshire, no such birth has been found, i do know Anna married Matthew Houston in 1836 , Fergus,Gore District, Canada, and she dies  10 feb 1880 Pierce County Wisconsin.
in 1880 John Rae is living with Anna's daughter, in Prescott, Pierce, Wisconsin thats all i know about John two mentions on two census. and according to both was , single.
