Re: Norwegian German invasion ?

Does anyone know where they were stationed exactly? In Id Ostfold? or Kongsvinger ? Oslo?

Apparently when they invaded Norway they took over one of my family homes- Just trying to figure out which home? I think it was possibly in Id or Aas but not sure ?

Hello

Where who were stationed, the Germans or Norwegians?

Kongsvinger was taken by the Germans on 16th April 1940.

I am assuming Germans but could be Norwegians who joined the German army ? I think it might have been before 1920?

Johanne Petronella's mother was Boel Marie Johannedatter and her step father was Carrl Brynildsen- they both died in Korsegaaden Aas in 1872 therefor I assume Johanne would get their home etc.. I dont know I Carl was previously married or had any other children ? Perhaps  he had some sons that joined the army & then came back to Norway?

Johanne was deaf and went to deaf school in Oslo-she married In 1869 to Claudius Magnus Pedersen..

There is a family story that the family had a farm called Allen or Ahlen-not sure if this was in Aas or Idd where Johanne Petronella was born in July 1846

That is about all I know- sorry

This all seems too vague to allow anyone to offer any meaningful assistance. You really need to clarify the historical context. The only German invasions I am aware of were in 1940. An introduction to events is given here:
