« on: Tuesday 24 March 15 17:12 GMT (UK) »
I would be grateful to anyone who can look up baptisms for me in Kirkby Malzeard! :D
I am looking for the baptisms of
Thomas Hewison 1831
Alice Hewison 1835
William Hewison 1838
I know their father is John Hewison. I would appreciate any information you can find!
Thanks

And these burials may be of note,

James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

 :D THANK YOU davidft!!!
I have been trying to find these for a very long time! The records I have access to are missing these years :-\  I am so grateful you found them for me!!! If you have the time would you please look and see if there is a marriage for John Hewison and Ann, I'm guessing between 1828 and 1832. You are a wonderful person!
thanks heart247

I did look for a marriage for John and Ann with no success.

I think you may have to buy William's birth certificate to find Ann's maiden name which might help later looking for the marriage

As an aside did you find the family on 1841 I had no success, and didn't find William in 1851 either although I did spot that Alice married Richard Tebb in 1860
James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. Just to round off Richard Tebb is at Laverton (very close to Kirkby Malzeard) on the 1841 and 1851 census. I did try looking at the pages for 51 but still did not find William there.

Richard and Alice name their first son John Hewison Tebb and he is baptised in Kirkby Malzeard in 1862

The problem with North Yorkshire is there are a fair few parishes that are not online so it makes it hard to find things. I am waiting for findmypast to put more North Yorks registers online to see if I can find some of my missing relatives
